Residential Burglaries

Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Broussard Police Department needs your help in identifying the suspects who committed several burglaries.     

 

On September 10, 2015, between the hours of 11am-11:30am two burglaries occurred in the 200 block of Sundown and a third in the 400 block of Moulin Road. Video surveillance captured the suspect vehicle as it arrives in the victim’s driveway. The suspect forced entry through a back door.  The suspect leaves the first residence and goes to the neighboring residence, accompanied by a second suspect, and made point of entry through a bedroom window.  The suspects did not rummage through any other parts of the residences, just the master bedrooms and taking various pieces of jewelry.  One of the suspects is wearing a light colored shirt, long pants and a hat.

Armed Robbery

The suspect was seen fleeing the area on foot.

Theft Auto rims
September 09, 2015

Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying the suspect responsible for the Theft of Vehicle Rims.  The Theft occurred within the City of Lafayette, now Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying the suspects.

 

On September 9, 2015, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 7:45 am, unknown suspects entered the property of B & B Auto Sales at 6401 Johnston Street. Once on the property the suspects placed a Cadillac Escalade on concrete blocks and stole all 4 rims.  The concrete blocks had fresh dirt on them and could possibly have been taken from a nearby neighborhood.

Attempted First Degree Murder Case

Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying the suspects in an attempted homicide.  The suspects are responsible for a shooting in Lafayette, now Crime Stoppers needs your help in identifying them.
On the night of Sunday August 2, 2015, three unknown black male suspects forced their way into a residence in the 200 block of Wilcox Street. The victim was able to run outside of the front door but was shot multiple times by one of the suspects. The suspects fled the area in a car, which detectives believe to be a white Nissan Altima that was caught on surveillance video leaving the area.

Help to solve 4 Homicides

Lafayette Crime Stoppers is working with Lafayette Police to solve four unsolved Homicides. Crime Stoppers has increased the reward from $1000.00 to $2500.00 for these four crimes.

 The photos of the four men shown are the victims of the homicides. Aaron Brooks Jr. was killed at 521 NE Evangeline Thruway on May 8. Scottie Alfred was found dead at 313 E. Foch Street on May 24th. Damien Champ was killed in the 300 block of Bossier Street on June 30th and Amon Bob was killed at the intersection of Clifford and E. Simcoe Street on July 17th. All four men died as the result of gunshot wounds.

Car Burglary

Identity Theft at Lowes

On May 17, 2015, multiple transactions were made by the suspect who used a counterfeit credit card which contained the victim’s debit card information.  Surveillance video captured the suspect during one of the transactions which occurred at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 120 E. Gloria Switch Road.  The suspect is identified as a white/ or Hispanic male with a receding hair line, wearing a light blue shirt with blue shorts.

Felony Theft in Lafayette

On April 22, 2015 at approximately 1130 pm two men armed with handguns entered a local bar located in the 1200 block of Carmel Drive. Holding the bartender and patrons at gunpoint, the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register along with wallets and cell phones from the patrons. The suspects were described as two black males,... one wearing jeans, t-shirt, and a baseball cap. The second suspect was wearing sweat pants and a hoodie. Both suspects had garments covering their faces. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.

Counterfeit Bills Case

On January 31, 2015, at approximately noon, the suspect entered a retail store in the 3100 blk of Ambassador Caffery and attempted to purchase gift cards using counterfeit 20 dollar bills. When the clerk went to the customer service counter to verify the bills, the suspect fled the store immediately and entered a dark colored SUV.

Railside Feed and Supply Burglary

On February 4, 2015, at approximately 2:40 am, the suspects burglarized the business of Railside Feed and Supply, which is located at 1021 Albertson Parkway. The suspects gained entry into the business but were scared off by the security alarm. Surveillance cameras captured the suspects as they arrived at th...e business and as they were walking the outside of the building attempting entry. The suspect vehicle appears to be a light colored four (4) door car driven by a third suspect.

Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

Business Burglary

Video surveillance captured the suspect as he approached the business. Vehicle Burglaries

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch the suspect who committed several vehicle burglaries.

On December 28, 2014 between the hours of approximately 1:30 am and 2:00 am, three vehicles were burglarized at Supreme Auto which is located at 2604 Ambassador Caffery Parkway. The vehicle had either forced entry or parts were stolen from them. One of the vehicles was left unlocked and entry into the others was made by shattering the passenger side window. The tailgate was stolen from one of the vehicles.  The suspect shown in the video is a male, wearing a dark colored jacket or hoodie and light color pants. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction of travel.
